PostcardMania Continues Rapid Growth, Makes Inc. 5000 List in 2011

Inc. magazine today named PostcardMania to its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economyAmericas independent entrepreneurs. Online retailer ideeli tops this years list. PostcardMania joins Spirit Airlines, Vizio, Honest Tea and Dunkin Donuts among other prominent brands featured on this years list.

Well, I cant exactly say Im satisfied with being number 4,989, laughed PostcardManias CEO, Joy Gendusa. We were eleven spots away from not being on the list at all! It certainly is great to make the list, but we expect more from ourselves here, so you can expect to see us much higher on the list next year.

The 2011 Inc. 5005000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth for 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independentnot subsidiaries or divisions of other companiesas of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million.
