All the Ways Online Retailers Get You To Overspend

U.S. shoppers spent more than $861 billion online in 2020 — that represents an uncanny 44.0% year-over-year growth, according to Digital Commerce 360, and is nearly three times 2019’s 15.1% growth over the previous year. And this spending isn’t looking to slow down any time soon; in fact, it’s estimated to keep on soaring. By 2022, online retail sales are forecast to grow to $6.54 trillion.

GOBankingRates consulted a number of retail and marketing experts (include PostcardMania’s Founder/CEO Joy Gendusa) to learn the latest tricks e-commerce sites use to close more and more sales.

2 Clearwater companies among best places to work

Two homegrown Clearwater companies earn top-20 rankings on job site Glassdoor’s annual list of the 100 Best Places to Work.

IT security firm KnowBe4 is 16 in the large company category and print and digital marketing firm PostcardMania is 13 among small and medium companies.

The rankings are determined by the reviews of current and former employees posted on Glassdoor.

PostcardMania launched in a 600-square-foot cottage in 1998. Today, the company occupies a 69,800 facility on Sunnydale Boulevard, with a staff of nearly 300 employees and more than 96,000 small business customers nationwide. Continue reading to find out what they’ve done to stand out…

Clearwater company soars in rankings on influential job site

PostcardMania’s efforts to recruit, hire and retain ideal job candidates have paid off with national accolades. 

According to a news release, the Clearwater-based marketing firm ranks 13th out of 50 — in the small and medium company category — in Glassdoor.com’s Best Places to Work in 2021. It also earned an Employees’ Choice Award, an honor determined solely by anonymous feedback solicited from workers, who rate and review their employers.
