The Situation

Quality Auto is an automotive repair company located in South Orange, NJ. They wanted to bring in more customers for service, so they reached out to PostcardMania for marketing assistance.

The Solution

PostcardMania designed an 8.5 x 11 inch postcard that included the following features:

  • Multiple offers for discounts on auto repair services
  • A photo of a broken vehicle on the front of the card to get the message across quickly
  • A design that highlights the coupons on the back of the card to entice the recipient to use them

Quality Auto bought their postcards in bulk to save money and mailed 24,000 postcards total. The cards were mailed on a weekly mailing schedule in amounts of about 3,000 cards. They used an Every Door Direct Mail mailing list that targeted local residents living near the car repair location.

These postcards were a part of an Everywhere Small Business marketing campaign that included digital ads on Google and Gmail. The Google ads were displayed 70,301 times and 1,366 people clicked on them. The Gmail ads were displayed 316,942 times and were clicked on 4,919 times.

The Results

They generated $103,200 in revenue!

As a result, 480 people brought in the postcards to use the offers listed on the card. This generated $103,200 in revenue. Quality Auto invested $17,605 in this marketing campaign, so their ROI amounts to 486%.

Since then, they have decided to continue their marketing campaign and ordered another 24,000 cards.
