Design:
The visual design for Vancouver Laundromat is light and bubbly (literally!). They chose a powder blue background and featured graphics of bubbles as well to make visitors think of the suds they see in a washing machine as they do laundry. This perfectly reinforces their marketing brand. They chose to use orange to accent the light blue background and it serves to build upon the bright and energetic feel of the site. They ensure a great first impression with a great banner image that shows fresh, clean laundry in a basket with gleaming, shiny laundry machines in the background. It’s a very strategic and aesthetic design.

Marketing:
Here are 3 great marketing strategies this company uses on their website…
1) Great Logo – Your logo is so important. It gives your business an identity and gives prospects something they can recognize as they go about their everyday lives. Vancouver Laundromat’s logo is simple yet memorable.

2) Picture Gallery on Services Page – Vancouver Laundromat sells itself with its mint condition equipment, as well as its well-lit and brightly decorated facility. They use this to their advantage by featuring lots of pictures on the website.

3) Frequently Asked Questions – Laundry is an industry where convenience and logistics play a big role. They made the great choice to list some of their prospects’ biggest questions on an FAQ page like, “What are your hours?, “How long will a load of laundry take to wash and dry?”, etc. This makes it easier for prospects to make a decision and I have a feeling lots of them choose Vancouver Laundromat.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization):
SEO is the practice of optimizing the copy on your website so that search engines can understand what your website is about and how they should rank it for particular keywords. This website is optimized for keywords like “laundry facility” and “Laundromat” to attract quality prospects who turn to Google to find a great local Laundromat in their area.

Copywriting:
There isn’t a lot of copy needed for a business like this, but Vancouver Laundromat makes theirs count. Their marketing copy emphasizes the benefits of their facility, uses bullet points to improve readability and includes testimonials to build trust with prospects. They nailed it.
Programming:
The programming on this site was spot on. No glitches or errors were present and everything looked great.
